The ARTICLE link takes you to HALTON AND THE YEARS AFTER. The remainder of the website, accessesd via the GALLERY link, is a photographic record of pictures taken by Phil whilst at Halton and the years after . The 'at Halton' subjects are Engine Fitters however many if not all are faces known to the other trades which made up our Entry.
The camera used was a Kodak Brownie and consequently the quality is not the best.. Some of the pictures taken are larger than the frame they are displayed in.
The photo section of the website has been configured in Video/Slide format. Most of the images display for 15 seconds, The larger images display for 30 seconds. Where this happens a marquee displays the time and on mouseover of the image the time is again shown. Both time periods should be sufficient to read the text under the image before it moves to the next frame as well as scrolling the frame to see the larger images. If the image times out before you have fully absorbed it then just hit your BACK button to review it.
So pour a glass of your favourite nourishing beverage, light a fag (whoops!! must not say that these days) relax in your chair and prepare to be spirited back in time.
If you want to purloin the images, text, etc then go ahead.
